The Windmill is regularly used for film shoots and has featured in several magazine and newspaper articles. The most recent of these was in “House Beautiful” magazine in July 2004.
It was subject to a “makeover” in September 2004 which was screened on Granada Television’s “60 Minute Makeover” programme in February 2005. A video of this programme is available for guests to watch.
It is well known as a landmark by pilots travelling to Heathrow Airport which is 5 miles away.

Considerable refurbishing has taken place since then and the Windmill is now a romantic and totally unique place to stay.
