Splash Mill was named after the ford running through the village - now a quaint duck pond with a small stream running along the back of the Mill. Ducks and the occasional swan regularly sail past the windows……..
Although the Mill is a relatively modern structure the timbers that form it date from The Napoleonic Wars and came from Tilbury Docks. The internal staircases are over 200 years old!
Furnishing this octagonal building has been challenging but fun.
